Career
Georgina joined the team in April 2012, and is based at the Samford Office. Prior to commencing work with Hollingworth & Spencer, Georgina was involved in the Pine Rivers Community Legal Service and the Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House Inc. Georgina had also worked for 11 years for the Honorary Consulate General of Greece in Brisbane, first as an administrative officer and then as Consular Secretary.  She was appointed to the position of Consular Secretary by the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs.  As Consular Secretary, Georgina was responsible for the day-to-day management of the Consulate, interviewing clients and signing off on legal documents and consular correspondence.

Georgina has also been accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters as a professional Translator in English and Greek (both language directions) and has been practising as a Translator since 2004.

Education

Georgina was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2011, after obtaining a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology at Gardens Point. Georgina had also previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Government and Studies in Religion from the University of Queensland.

Interests
In her free time, Georgina likes to catch up with friends and attend the gym. She has also been a member of the Western Suburbs Toastmasters Club in Ferny Grove since 2009.
